And now for something completely random: A lot of French people have mailed me via DA in the past months, asking whether they could use my art for their forums. Like, for the forums' layouts. o_O Lolz. I was all (after having a hard time figuring out what they actually WANTED from me, their English was really broken) "Lawlz okay, but credit plz". I don't think most of them got it o-o;; Because they mailed me again, also other people of the same and different forums, lulz. So I replied again and also told them they could mail me in French if that was easier for them. I haven't received any this month, so maybe they've given up or something. XDDD This is so random.


Yes, this will be a post of many cuts so I won't spam your friendslist too much. 8D;;;


CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAS! I was done with the christmas shopping (the majormajormajor part of it, anyway) in the beginning of december! 8'D Dude, who woulda thunk. So in the news (like every year), they're all "ZOMG the inner cities are crowded with stressed and panicky people shopping for their last presents blablablah" AND I'M NOT ONE OF THEM. PWN. I got an iPod nano for my brother (the old design though, since I think it's so much prettier @_@), an antique SNES game (he used to love it years ago and broke ours! XD) and candy for my dad and a photography/lyrics book for my mom (of her fav singer)... along with more candy. 8DDD AHAHAHA I LOVE SHOPPING FOR CANDY, OMGZ. Thennnnn of course quite a lot for toasterdog (WHICH I SHALL NOT REVEAL HERE, LOLZ.) and some smaller presents for random friends. XDD AND CANDY! ♥
...And then I kinda regretted already having all the presents, because I thought that Lush products would make for a really good present. XDDD BUT OH WELLS.

As for my presents this year, I don't know of all. XDDDD (naturally! 8D Surprises are fun) All I know is that I'mma get a new cell (because I picked it myself, lulz), a nice warrrrrm Esprit pullover and uh... oh yeah, a fun iPod case fitting my cell. 8D Hahaha, IT ALL LOOKS LIKE CANDY. Except for the pullover, maybe. But omgz look cell (I didn't even want one with an integrated camera, I just couldn't find one WITHOUT o-o; *SO has no clue about cells*) :

I also received a package from my aunt, Kami and another friend today 8DDD YEYZ!1

But peoplez, more important than presents is of course the whole christmas feeling! 8'D Noeeeeez, not the plastic-santa-clause-singing-"girl from ipanema"-while-swaying-his-hips-christmas feeling. The other one! XD
I'm admittedly not really religious (as in "not at all" XD), but I always go to church with my family on Christmas Eve and actually like it, the whole atmosphere. 8'D
And starting here in December: The Christmas Market!
I don't know much about christmas markets in other countries, but in Germany, they're usually permanently (during December) on marketplaces in the inner city, often near a cathedral.
They sell hand-crafted ornaments, little wood decoration stuffs, plushies, awesome oriental style lamps, glass figures... anything neat, really. Then of course the food booths like Crêpes, Poffertjes (liek omgz, so internashunal!1), sausages (dude, you wouldn't believe how many sausages they sell there), waffles, all kinds of hot beverages, CANDY (recognize a pattern yet? 8D; )
Anyways, I tried to take some photos of it in the dark. 8D;;; Mostly I didn't have anything to rest my camera on (and I hate taking pictures with flash), so they're not all that good I'm afraid. D;





...Yes, I photographed quite a lot of CANDY. 8'D Gotta love chocolate-covered fruit, waffles, roasted almonds, candy canes... @_@ HEHEHEHE OH YES. Now I made myself hungry. D;


Also, I might've mentioned this before... I'M LEARNING CHINESE!!1 8DDDD I love it, it's awesome fun. I got a little bored with Roman languages (especially after having learned Latin D8), so this is a whole new experience. o-o Pronouncing stuff right and drawing the signs right... whee! 8D LOOKATTHIS:

I know it's not much. 8'D I only know about 30 signs and 100 words so far, lulz.

I also bought the book "Hannibal Rising" by Thomas Harris. O-O Eeeee!~~~ So excited. Unfortunately I haven't gotten to read much of it yet (studying and uni and christmas and so on @_@), I'm only on page 80 or something... but I love it already. HANNIBAL IS THE MOST AWESOME PSYCHOPATH EVER. Srsly. Many people haven't even read the books and think it's all brainless (LOLZ), gory, Nightmare-on-Elmstreet stuff... but it's not! Hannibal is seriously one of the best written, interesting and most 3D characters I have ever seen/read. 8] Gotta love it.


So I watched "Happy Feet" some days ago! The 3D animation was really well done, the baby penguins were so cute. ;u; I didn't go and watch this movie with high expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised (WITH MONOCLE, LULZ O.Q) that it actually had a morale to it, the ending was actually SAD. TAKE THAT, HUMANITY!!1 Evil humans stealing the poor penguins' fishies. D; Well, too bad they can't actually tapdance in real life, so humanity will just continue screwing with nature. D8
On a happier note, I think the soundtrack of this movie will be really good. XD;


And on other random news: An OXFAM Store opened in our city! Wheee! I went to donate a bunch of CDs and DVDs to them. 8DDDD I really like their shop concept, I hope they earn a lot of money with it!

I would also like to present to you: "DINNER FOR ONE". This curious little black/white comedy from the year 1963 is something that you will ALWAYS see on television in Germany on New Year's Eve. Why, you ask? WHO KNOWS? XDDD
It's in English, even though it's a German production and absolutely NOBODY in the UK or US knows it *lol* (except they have German friends or something). I guess they did it for the style. The majority of the Germans are known to find this hilariously funny, and I'm one of them! XDDDD
Its main storyline is being explained in the beginning. XDDD
Come on, you wouldn't wanna miss this extravagant piece of German culture! XDDD (split into 2 parts, because YouTube is evil like that)
